I have just recently finished the game, so I can provide full knowledge about the game ^_^ |

In this game, you play as the character Zack Fair. We know a little about Zack from the game Final Fantasy 7. Crisis Core explains all the little gaps you may have forgotten or didn't understand in FF7.
Zack Fair starts off as a normal member of soldier, however, he is recognised as a very talented member, and is very quickly promoted to First Class. As Zack, you go on many different missions. The main storyline is another First Class Soldier has gone missing during one of the missions. You (as Zack) and your good friend Angeal go off to Wutai during the war. As you proceed during the storyline, you go way up north, where you meet Cloud, an Infantryman in soldier.
Seeing Cloud as an infantryman helps us to realise that Cloud was in fact not a First Class Soldier. |
